Clean water is one of the world‘s primary concerns and there are few places in the world with water as pristine as Iceland’s.It is sustainable and pure by nature as surface water is geologically filtered through layers of inert volcanic lava over time resulting in pristine groundwater.

This year, we honor our outstanding natural resource with two new additions to the BIOEFFECT Cleansing Line; BIOEFFECT Micellar Cleansing Water and BIOEFFECT OSA Water Mist. They join the existing BIOEFFECT Volcanic Exfoliator. Harnessing the purity and power of Icelandic water, they help hydrate, cleanse, and refresh the skin.

BIOEFFECT MICELLAR CLEANSING WATER contains cleansing micelles, molecules that dissolve oil and dirt and remove them smoothly without leaving any oily residue on the skin. Our Micellar Cleansing Water stands apart from others of its kind due to its unique, base ingredient: pure, soft, Icelandic water. It has a low concentration of hard minerals such as calcium and magnesium. It also contains four hydrating agents to moisturise the skin.

BIOEFFECT OSA WATER MIST is also made with pure, geologically filtered Icelandic water and hydrates and balances the skin, easing dryness and discomfort. Containing orthosilicic acid (OSA) which is a bioavailable form of silica that the skin absorbs, unlike other forms of the substance. OSA is quite rare in nature, however, it can be found in high-temperature geothermal steam in Iceland. It also includes optimised hyaluronic acid for around the clock hydration.
