Iceland is sometimes nicknamed the land of fire and ice. In BIOEFFECT OSA Water Mist two powerful forms of water meet – hot steam and cold groundwater. The ultra-light spray contains pure, geologically filtered Icelandic water and orthosilicic acid (OSA), a bioavailable form of silica which the skin absorbs– unlike other forms of the substance. OSA is quite rare in nature but it can be found in high-temperature geothermal steam in Iceland, which is the natural source of OSA in our mist. OSA has been shown to visibly strengthen the skin’s elasticity and retain water resulting in softer, firmer skin with a subtly mattified appearance.
BIOEFFECT OSA Water Mist also contains optimised hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance in skin that has the capacity to attract and hold vast amounts of moisture. Close your eyes and apply two to three sprays to your face and neck. Let absorb and gently blot excess with a clean tissue if necessary. Repeat as often as desired.

Our barley-based EGF is a protein that prefers a watery environment. As the Micellar Cleansing Water is designed to be used without water we recommend using BIOEFFECT OSA Water Mist on clean skin after cleansing to maximise our serums’ efficacy.
