Introducing New Patented Black Barley.
We’ve been at the forefront of biotechnology innovation in skincare since we began in 2010, so we thought it only fitting to push our limits even further as we enter a new decade.
It’s our 10th anniversary this year and as part of the celebration, we’re introducing an exclusive BIOEFFECT EGF Serum Limited Edition produced in our new patented Black Barley.
We’ve been at the forefront of biotechnology innovation in skincare since we began in 2010, so we thought it only fitting to push our limits even further as we enter a new decade.
Barley is at the center of everything we do at BIOEFFECT and we are always looking for new ways to enrich our understanding and use of these amazing plants. By crossing our variety of barley, developed specifically for EGF production, with a rare high-altitude, black variety we’ve created our very own, now patented, Black Barley.
The pitch-black seeds of this variety of barley make it stand out from the rest. They owe their deep black color to an intricate combination of black molecules that include melanin and powerful antioxidants, due to the black barley having evolved in a harsh, high-altitude environment.
But there’s more to black barley than an abundance of melanin and antioxidants. The Black Barley seeds don’t have seed covers, making the EGF purification process easier and the final product more potent. This makes our new patented Black Barley the most potent source of EGF yet.
We have been growing our new variety in our ecologically engineered greenhouse for the past year and seeing the black and green barley plants growing together, side by side, is quite the sight to behold.
We’re so excited to share this latest breakthrough in skincare with you by way of our EGF Serum Limited Edition. It’s formulated with a double concentration of EGF compared to our award-winning EGF Serum and produced in our new patented black barley. This Limited Edition EGF Serum has been designed by Icelandic artist, Shoplifter/Hrafnhildur Arnardottir, a true art piece that embodies the elements unique to our Black Barley, our serum and Icelandic nature.
